HISTORY
- 1988: Biofin Laboratories name registration.
- 1994: Biofin Laboratories starts practical industrial development in partnership with a European laboratory.
- 1999-2002: laboratory and pilot fermenter plant in Italy (Gazoldo degli Ippoliti, Mantova).
- 1999-2003: cooperation with CNR (Italian National Research), Bologna, about TFO-daunomycin project (Triplex Forming Oligonucleotides, TFO).
- 2002: centre in Porto Mantovano (Mantova), with microbiology and analysis laboratories, pilot fermenters plant.
- 2002-2006: Andrea Manfredini and Gianmarco Manfredini enter in Biofin Laboratories' Board of Director.
- 2004-2008: partnership in an EEC (European Economic Community) project named Dermagenesis, based on mammalian (bovine) cells.
- 2006: Biofin Laboratories reorganization; Andrea Manfredini General Manager.
- 2006-2007: new down-stream phase (recovery and purification) plant; new and enlarged analysis laboratory; one more microbiology laboratory.
- 2007: new semi-synthesis laboratory.
- 2007: Biofin Laboratories is admitted in Questio, Lombardian system of identification and evaluation of Research and Technology Transfer Centres.
- 2007: from 16th November, 2007, Biofin Laboratories Srl is a company with a quality management system certified by DNV, ISO 9001:2000. The system is certified for "Technology development and transfer of biotechnological, enzymatic and synthetic processes for the production of active ingredients for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and cosmetic industries. Assistance for the industrial implementation of the above processes." Certificate No. 11524-2007-AQ-ITA-SINCERT.
